Brake Pulsation - Warped Rotor?
I have a 2001 C240 with about 44,000 miles.
Recently, I notice a strong pulsating sensation from the brake pedal when I slow the car down from 50 mph or above. Any speed lower than 50 mph, the vibration or pulsation from the brake pedal is very slight or barely noticeable. Could my car brake rotors warped? Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks! |

Replace your rotors and pads if they are less than 60%

I agree
Back in the summer I innocently had one of these "brake job places" do a free inspection on my 560sl. I asked them to hand torque the wheels after determining that I still had a few thou miles left on my pads and rotors. I guess that "piss'ed them off and they way over-torqued them. Shortly after, my brakes started to shudder and I ended up replacing the fronts.
Did you have your wheels off at all lately? J. Boggs |
