1976 450 sl exhaust plan layout?

Does anyone have a sketch or layout showing 450 sl (1976) exhaust system? Can you send this via reply? Thanks again, Abe G PS Any power gain eliminating 1977 catalytic converter without messing up engine adjustments?

Try looking up the exhaust system for your car at Timevalve- they do stainless exhaust systems for M-B. Do a search for there website, then find your model application, will have a schematic drawing of the system.

Added emphasis.

I have used their stuff for near twenty years. I have a couple 280SL (113 chassis) that have had their systems on for near that time and they are still bright shiny. The stainless they use is more like what is used for food preparation than what is normally used for exhaust.

I agree. I have used one of their systems before, on a 6-cyl. 108 chassis. Currently getting ready to install a Timevalve system on my V8 108.
