1990 420SEL a/c compressor change
Good evening all! I'm getting ready to install a new (MB rebuilt)compressor on my type 126. I'm a tech for BMW and have installed many on the beemer's, which come with the clutch. To my dismay, when I purchased the factory rebuilt for the benz, I noticed it didn't come with the clutch. My Question: Do I need any special MB tools to R&I the new compressor clutch, or is it a direct bolt on? Thank you for taking the time to respond! Larry

Nothing special to change the clutch. Just move it from the original unit.
