Changing original phone

I have a 2002 s500 with the original silver star tac phone.Does anyone know if i can change this phone with a new one.I dont think motorola make a new star tac,is there some kind of adaptor to use for a different motorola?

i know i've had a few startacs go bad, and you're right that motorola doesn't make them anymore.
so then what we do is retrofit the v60 phone in there if the customer wants.
basically we just get a whole new install kit for the v60 phone, so that can get expensive.
