Window lifter

My Mercedes is a 1973, 280 SE4.5.My front right window could not close completely and made a noise. Bought a Window lifter (regulator) for the front right window. I noticed the replacemnet has a spring wound opposite to the original regulator. That is one is wound CW and the other is CCW. I have not installed the replacement as yet. Will I have problem because of the spring ?

I would venture to recommend investigating whether your car has more than one window regulator available for it depending on the numer of teeth that the motor deals with or some other variable.
My 300SE W126 has two choices based on this!!!
