wiper/signal switch(190e)

My daughter somehow managed to pull off the end cap of my turn signal/wiper switch. Several bits and pieces fell out. I managed to two pieces back in, but I can't figure quite figure out how the spring fits in. Everythinkg seems to work fine except a slight nudge turns the wiper/washer on. Does anyone know if there is a diagram available online somewhere I could peek at.

the car is a 1986 190e

Your help is greatly appreciated. I have searched by found nothing.
