Smile 92-99 S class convenience relay

The convenience relay controls all of the "convenience" features on the S class series such as auto close doors/windows - etc.

Does anyone know specific remedies besides removing fuses (re-setting) to clear up any malfunctions.

My auto close doors/trunk and windows work sporatically from time to time. Resetting the fuse seems to be a short term fix.

Any advise or comments will be much appreciated. I would presume a new unit will be spendy!

Thank you.

reset the module

I'm not sure about the S-class, but I had a similar problem with my 88 BMW 735i. The windows, sporadically, wouldn't close or open. My fix was removing and reinserting both the relay module and the circuit board (control) module. It worked fine ever since.
