I just bought my first MB diesel and have 175k on it..I love it! Never want another car.
However, I am having intermittent troubles with shutting off the car. Sometimes it will shut down fairly quick while other times you can count to 10 after turning the key before it chokes down. I have been reading some other messages...does this seem to be a vac prob? The locks work intermittently also. |

CB,
Never underestimate the value of a good visual inspection. Especially examine the rubber branches in the vacuam lines for splitting. Good luck, ------------------ Larry Bible '84 Euro 240D, 516K miles '88 300E 5 Speed '81 300D Daughter's Car Over 800,000 miles in Mercedes automobiles |
