m103 2.6 fuel injector noise

Hi all,

I have a 1991 190e 2.6 with 88K miles. I recently replaced the fuel injectors (Bosch # 0437502047), injector rubber seals, injector plastic sleeves/O-rings, rubber boot between the air flow meter and throttle body and the throttle body gasket. The IACV hoses were tight and did not have any cracking.

The engine starts fine, runs a bit above 1,000 rpm when cold and then settles down to a 600-700 rpm idle in park.

The issue I am having is a high frequency noise coming from the fuel injectors/fuel distributor area.

Here is a video of the warm engine at idle:

I have read in Bosch CIS manuals that clean injectors generate a high frequency resonance called pintle chatter. Not sure if what I have is pintle chatter.

Hoping some CIS gurus can help with this. I love the car until I open the hood when it is idling. :-)

Thanks!
Kunal
