1990300sl--chck light

What would cause the check light to come on?----I have been driving it with no change in performance.

Check for fault codes stored in the fuel and ignition systems. Easiest approach is to use home-made "blink tool" to interface with diagnostic connector socket #3 (fuel) and #8 (ignition). If you do a search on blink tool and diagnostic connector, you will have all the info you need...
