1993 300te

I am in the market for a new (for me) vehicle and saw an ad for a 1993 300TE within my price range. The car has 150,000 miles on it. Are these vehicles any good. I have owned several older MBs and always enjoyed them but am concerned that the quality of the "newer" models is not as good as the 123s that I owned. Are there any specific problem areas that I should investigate with this model? Thanks in advance for your advice.
