My radiator on my 1975 230 has a small leak. The car does run cool even with the air on in 95 degree weather.
I was going to replace the stock unit but it is 550.00 at a discount. What about Recoreing the original? A local shop will do for 185.00 with a 2 year warranty.
Also would you change the water pump which has no signs of problems at the same time?

The radiator re-core is fine. I have done many and it worked great.

I would not replace a water pump that is working.
