It's not that easy . . . .

to replace that blub: must remove the complete assy by removing the burlwood panel.

To see how to do this, check my web page ('www' icon below) and select Menu #23. The pictures show how-to-remove it. Note some panels are one-piece but mine is a two section panel.

Once it's removed, you can remove the N22 control module. It's opens easily and you can replace the blub.

BTW, have to tried to 'tap' the LCD screen first??? You may be surprised!!!

I'll try tapping, maybe that will work.

How do you remove wood? And do you have to use glue to put it back?

Roman,
In most cases the bulb that lights that side is under the "AUTO" button on that side. The wood does't need to be removed at all.
You need a small pick to get under the auto button & while holding very slight pressure on the button you pull out on the pick.
Then there is a slot that needs to be un-screwed, you will then find the bulb.

Humm . . .

not sure that we are talking about the same thing?

I thought that Roman was referring to the lamp that (back)lights the right LCD window but it looks as though he was referring to lamp in the AUTO button.

On my car, the AUTO lamp is fine but have to 'tap' the LCD panel to get the LCD lamp to light. Sorry for confusion.
