Problems with electronic key
My brother owns a 99 430 E. One of his keys went dead after dropping it. He replaced the batteries, but the key still does not function. Mercedes wants $260.00 for a new one. Is there anything that is common to them not functioning, and can it be serviced. I have a complete electronics lab at my disposal to anaylize it.
