Angry 94 SL 320 Non start Help!

I have just replaced the AC EVAPORATOR on my wifes SL320 on refitting everything the engine refuses to crank or run ,if the starter is shorted the engine cranks but does not run. The doors also lock themselfs if the ignition is on for a few seconds the alarm system seems to work properly otherwise. there is power out of the ignition switch. Can anyone advise what I have done wrong? Regards Linds

Linds,
the USA models use a starter lock-out relay that is activated by the alarm/locking system. The relay(USA) is under the radio next to the SRS control unit. Try jumping the 30 term to the 87 term & then see if the starter will work.
