'86 300E Motor Blower
My '86 300E stop blowing anything but low heat out of the defrost and vent areas. I checked the blower fuse (it was intact). My mechanic said it's probably the blower motor and it's a big pain to get to since it's deep under the wiper assembly, etc. If figured since it would take someone who knew what the were talking about 2 hours to do, it would take me 6 hours to do myself. There goes the superbowl (I thought). So I go to this form to find out how to do it and low and behold I read a thread about checking the climate control fuse since if it goes the blower defaults to low heat defrost and vents. Boom...I recheck the fuses and the CC fuse breaks when I touch it. I replace it and everthing works! You guys are sooooooo great and this forum continues to save me time, $$ and mental energy... Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate ya.
