190/300E Drive Shaft Compatability?

Will the driveshaft on a 300E fit a 190E??

Don't know for sure, but I'd bet the front section is longer in the W124 than in the W201, longer wheel base. The rest may be the same, but swapping them is asking for an unbalanced shaft.
