300e temp high at idle.
Hello Board,
My 300E haa a weird problem. While driving my temp will be about 82 C, when I idle for about 5 minutes, the temp quickly will hit the 110C temp, and the aux fan will cut in. The aux fan quickly brings the temp down, but I am curious as to why the car heats up so fast at idle?? The coolant is the prestone ORANGE Dex-cool coolant. The mixture is about 60% water and 40% coolant. Help!!!!
