Poly v belt

Hi

The poly v belt on my w129 sl320 1996 makes a squeeking noise when the steering full lock is applied. Is there a means of adjusting the tension.

It appears that since there are numerious cracks on belt that this needs renewing.
Any advice on the procedure of changing this would be appreciated.
