rear suspension noise
Where I live there are lots of huge diagonal speed bumps. Since they are diagonal, each corner goes over seperately. When the right rear goes over the speed bump, it makes a "clunk" or creaking noise noise. This isn't an extremely loud noise where it sounds like something is getting ready to come apart, but it is there. Shocks and subframe bushings have been replaced. What in the rear suspension could make such a noise? I did a search and only found info on front suspension.
One more noise: This one is a bit more mysterious. Not really sure where exactly it is coming from. It is a constant tapping noise....the best I can do it that I think it is coming from in front of me. I can only hear it when standing still or going very slow...might still be there while driving and just can't hear it. Opening the door makes no difference in volume or frequency...makes me think it is coming from inside, under the dash perhaps. Anyone want to take a shot at this one??
