MB 1990 300CE [ Australian compliance ]

Can someone advise on the steps I have to follow to remove the wood grain console around the gear selector and window switches ?

The surface has some cracks and I need to take it somewhere to get it repaired.

Unless the clip is broken, theres a screw under the carpet in the center console. then it just about lifts out, theres two hooks up under the front of it. If its the same as US version, Im sure it is.

Pull the gear lever pattern surround out first
