Do w140 and w220 have similar/like front suspension

I have a chance to purchase a w220 MB ball joint R&R tool. The tool is designed to remove and press the ball joint into the steering knuckel on the w220.

Does anyone know if the tool will also work on the front suspension of a w140?

The W140 chassis ball joint bolts in!

The W220 chassis has a press-in joint like the W116/123/126 chassis.
The front suspension on the W220 chassis is like a BMW OR Audi.
