Frustration with the AC manifold hose
I am working on the AC system in my 82 300TD. I am replacing everything. I had a AC manifold hose from Phil that I could not get a good seal at the compressor. Phil sent me another hose right away. Today Ifinally got to work on the car and installed the hose on the compressor. Installed the compressor and when I tried to attach the hose on the right side of the engine. The bends and brackets were not positioned correctly. I could not get the oil pan bracket and block bracket to attach at the same time. So I will have to return the second hose and get in touch with Phil tomorrow. sometimes you just have one of those days.
