Cold start injector (pics needed)

After still having no luck with my 190e, and after re reading my thread, it seems that the cold start injector could be staying open, hence causing the flooding problem?

now where abouts is the injector, is it the injector that sits to the left of the fuel distributor, sorta on the fuel lines? if so, if i unplug the connector to it, will it stay closed?

if so, am i right in thinking that if it no longer floods, then the problem lies there?

or am i barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks in advance.

Mat

Depends on what you mean by unplugging. If you unplug the electrical connector, and the problem goes away - you ARE getting gas from it, and it is NOT the problem. Likely then a defective temperature sensor.

right, so if i unplug the electrical connector, will the injector stay closed or open, i.e will it let gas through or not? Also, is the injector where i said it was, or is that something else?

i presume the temperature sensor has nothing to do with the water temp gauge (which is working) if not, where would i find it and how could i test it?

THanks very much for the help so far, hopefully i can get this working soon
