I have water leaking into the drivers floorboard. I have rooled out body leaks and engine coolant. It apears to be condensate from the A/C. I had a similar problem on my 1979 300TD. The evaporator tube had been pulled loose during a transmition replacement. I am sure that the problem here is that either the tube or the evaporator tray drain is restricted. I do see some condensate getting to the ground but only when parked on an incline. Is there any way to access the drain hose to clear it with out dissasembling the entire dash and console?
If not: can you give me some guidence on how to proceed? Thanks in advance for your help. Jon Campbell ------------------ |
