Our cars are almost identical.

I like your front license plate delete panel. I wish I would've bought one, too, and painted it when I had my front and rear bumpers resprayed.

I'm not a fan of chrome wheels, but your chrome 8-holers sure look good.

The 8 hole wheels found on 1992-1994 W124's came painted silver and clear-coated.

1995 8 hole wheels are "special edition" wheels, and came polished and clear coated. I was very lucky to buy these from a fellow forum member for a good price.

I did spend over $400 getting them refinished, though.:D

I like your interior as well. I'm thinking about the chrome shifter surround and a new knob/shifter. How difficult is it to install?

I had my reservations about the chrome wheels. I was swayed by some friends and am happy with them. I'm running the wreath crest centers currently and plan on switching to the standard chrome centers during my next tire rotation. These wheels are super easy to wash and wax.

I had to have my front and rear bumper covers repainted (previous owner parking on the street) and took the opportunity to install the front tag delete panel. It turned out nice and is pretty rare to see.

I also had to replace the driver side door sill on my car due to the strips coming up. I just went with the OE piece.

Couple of sharp looking MB's, Paul S interior is very nice. How much $ have you spent getting your car to look that good if I may ask? Did you send me the tester Jpeg? My email server is not very good.

You can see in the pic that the LED light needs to be mounted on something. An empty 35 MM film container works fine.

I have spent about:

$500 on the steering wheel
$85 for the shift knob
$50 for the chrome shift surround
$200 for the illuminated sill plates
$500 for the 8 hole wheels and refinishing
$3,000 for the Nakamichi sound system, speakers, etc.
$250 to respray the bumpers
$100 for the S600 grill

In other words, too much money.

I made do everything but the nakamichi, the stereo on it sounds good even though the trunck changer sucks. BTW thanks for the diagram.

Also, does any one have a list of codes for this same year and model?
