How do you remove seat backs on 190e-16v

The drivers side head rest on my 86 190e-16v does not go down with the switch. I have to push it down. Also when I move the head rest up with the switch, i feel something in the middle of the seat back moving. Almost feels like someones knee in my back. Have look through the manual but no mention of seat back removal for the recaro seats.

Thanks
henry

Now im speaking from memory however, in my 190 (at the time) you had to go to the back of the seat and go the the very bottom and there was 3 or 4 screws holding the back plate on,, once those are removed then you can slide the panel down and it shows you everything thats goin on inside the seat, it may be a broken clip or something stripped... but once you getthe back panel off it should tell the story..
