About Larry Bible's offer...
That was the thing I missed most about this car--most of the people I met thru it were decent, hardworking, honest people with good hearts--I think only certain people would appreciate the slow 240D with its Cast Iron heart...only a few had the Character to drive it in these days of 250 HP, 32 valve, Computer Controlled V8's and put up with the fingers from you got from teenagers and middle-aged ladies racing to the mall, trying to run you off the Road ..it was the anti California car, the car for all of us who shopped at KMart and and knew what sweat and blood was all about.
