I have a 1989 260e that has a hard starting problem sometimes,and when this accurs the ABS light stays onand the vehicle runs rough especially at idle. any help would be appreciated.

Replace the overvoltage relay and then report back to us. We sell them in the partshop...Thanks

Also suggest checking battery voltage with engine off and running, and report back.
