Ac Clutch Diagnostic

1990 300E 3.0

Summer is on the way. My AC is not working. The blower and the push buttons are also working. I tried to short pressure switch, but the clutch does not engage. I also shorted temp. switch on the dryer, no luck again.

How do you check and isolate if the clutch is the culprit? Thanks
