Which is the "EARTH" cable on alternator

Hi there,

There are 2 cables attached to the alternator... one THICK one and another THIN one... now, which is the EARTH wire.. just dun wanna screw up... Thanks.

Also, does anyone know where's the earth wire on the engine? Can't seem to locate. Thanks my friends...
