W126: How do I tighten the exterior mirrors?

I performed a cursory inspection of my 420SEL's exterior mirrors, but can't figure out how they're attached to the vehicle's frame. (Both are somewhat wobbly, the passenger side especially...)

Any help here will be appreciated--as always!
