I'm overhauling my 603 engine. Had a warped head. Will be changing alot of parts. What brands or replacement should I go for and stay away from? or should I just go for original?
Concerened for the following parts: 1) Cylinder sleeve/liner 2) Piston Rings 3) Timing chain 4) Main, Con-rod, piston pin bushings 5) O-hauling gasket kit Some say Mercedes have all/most of their parts made by these companies (TRW, ELRING, etc) and just stamp their logo and sell them as ORIGINAL so the replacement parts are exactly the same as the ORIGINAL. Please advice. Francis |

Why don't you contact the parts shop on this website? I think they can get OE, OEM or aftermarket parts, whatever your budget or tastes dictate.
