I tried to respond to a few posts and the site would not let me due to "Flood Control"?? I guess you cannot post more than once per minute.

I am confused to the purpose of this function. Has there been someone on this board posting a mile a minute and we're trying to discourage them from posting? The people on this board have been very helpful and courteous in my opinion.

I have a feeling that this function will discourage some very knowledgable people from answering numerous questions on this board.

What do ya'll think?

Matt, there is a good technical reason for limiting the concurrency of posts. The text you type is cached and written to the server disk after it is updated on the screen. If the rate of these updates is not controlled, the cache cue would constantly be flushed and messages would get lost. Those who rummage in the bowels of MBZ automobiles learn the wisdom of patience. This is also true for file and web servers.
