As my 2.0ltr 190e has got quieter (after mucho work) the rattle which was always there under acceleration between 1750 and 2200 rpm peaking at 2000 has got ever louder (relatively speaking). Its otherwise perfectly quiet including at 2000 when under steady load.

Any ideas as to whats causing this rattle sound?.
