The power steering seems to be making some noise as if the fluid level is low. Where is the full line on the resevior? What power steering fluid is used in this system?
I see a line in the casting that I think could be the full line, and the level is about a half an inch below it with the engine shut down. Information would be appreciated. had a similar question before. i called my local dealership and was told to fill up half an inch below the top, and to fill up only OEM fluid at 12 bucks per 500 ml.

Thanks Joel, that did the trick. The pump quieted down and the steering operates normally.
