Intermitant windows

Hi World,

I am havin a weird problem that I dont really understand.

My electric driver side window fails on me every day in the middle of the day and comes back to life sometime in the evening.

Assuming that these vehicles (79 300d) are not equiped with a "how to pain me the most in my day sensor". I have to assume that this issue is related to the heat of the day.

If i were to make further assumptions I would assume that the issue is in the switching mechnisim and not the motor. . .but any guidence and suggestions would be grand.

PS I know what assuming does also!!
