123 series binding/grinding rear

Hello again

This weeks noise is a kind of intermittent grinding/rumbling from the rear when negotiating a right hand curve or in a straight line at 70mph+ to a lesser extent.

Appears to be coming from the left/n/s, had it in the air and there seems to be no movement in the wheel bearings, wheels quiet when turned although sound like a loose ball bearing in the o/s inner cv joint, could this be the cause?
I dont have much experience of axleshafts. If it is this can you replace just inner bearing/joint or is it a complete axleshaft?

The drive/propshaft is also a bit noisy?

Any theories welcomed!
thanks
