The pump leaks at the shaft bearing if I top it off. If I do not top it off, the level is low, but there are no leaks and steeting does not even feel spongy. I'd like to fix the pump. The manual describes a special puller for the bushing. Where can I get this tool? Is it more economical to let a shop take care of it?

This is a straight forward rebuild/reseal if you have the parts and tools. I'd let the shop do it.
