94 E320 shuts off around corners

Help,
my daughters ( 16 years old ) 1994 E320 will sometimes shut off when she goes around a corner. Since she has just got her license, this might cause her big problems. Anyone got any suggestions on what to look for?? By the way she loves this car, especially after the 17" wheels got installed.

I would like to add that I did check the search and will check out the fuel pump relay this weekend. By the way it fires up instantly after each episode.

My first guess would also be fuel supply related.

However, there are two owners of 500E's that have similar experiences with their cars.

The engine will shut down when making a turn, especially when making a U-turn.

One person, Shanta, has fixed her problem by replacing the crank position sensor.

Just thought it might be interesting, FWIW.

Wow this is something new. Could be a malfunctioning stealth technology from the famous German engineers at MB.
