Air Hoses Leading to Air Box

I tried searching for this but since I cannot remember the name for the tubes / hoses leading from behind the headlight to the airbox I could search properly. If some one would tell me the name I would appreciate it.

Anyway, on to my question. I have an E420 and was wondering if these hoses are replacable with one out of the newer V8 motors? I don't know if they are narrower or what. The one I have and the other ones that I see in pictures are sometimes falling apart and or wrinkled up. Mine has begun to deteriorate at the fome endings and sometime becomes dislodged. Are these tubes cheap or expensive?
