books4cars.com bites

I ordered a manual from books4cars, it was supoosed to have been original MB M119 engine paper manual at a cost of $149, I said OK i want it. I already have electronic manual but I wanted paper as well, after waiting for it for ~ 6 months I get it in the mail and it is a copy in loose binder. They have some balls charging $149 for a copy. I sent it right back.

I got my 126 engine and chassis (2 vol) manuals from them. The chassis manuals were bound and look original MB, and the engine manual was in a 3 ring binder. The binder itself is very nice and looks "original". Although the engine manual MAY not be original, it's fine b/c I actually don't mind the binder because it is easier to keep a page flipped open and you can take out individual pages if you are only needing 1 or 2 for instance. I guess I'd rather have a very nice professional looking copy than none at all. Serves the same purpose. Mine came right away. I'm satisfied.

How much would it cost to take that binder down to Kinko's, have a replication made, then send the one back to booksforcars?

fahrgewehr2 - I do not know. I do not need to do that since, I can just print it from my PC ( I said I have electronic version of the manual). My main gripe is incorect description. If they indicated the manual was a bootleg duplication I would have never ordered it. The description said original manual.
It still cost me the return shipping charges.
