Power consumption

The battery on my car is discharging when the car is not in use, i have been measuring the mA from the battery and i got 275mA. Is this enough to empty the battery? What is the normal power consumption? I removed 2 fuses (C and 9) then the mA came down to 90 mA.

My car is a Mercedes 220 ce cab w124

Greatful for any help

Frode

275 mA too much

I had a similar problem with a BMW I used to own. 275mA is too much of a current draw - if you go on vacation over weekend without your car, you're likely to find the battery dead.

The problem in my BMW was a glove box light staying on. I fixed the switch and it solved the problem.

Troy looking at whatever is connected to the 2 fuses that you isolated. 90 mA sounds like a much better current craw, althought around 20-40 would be better.

On a cold morning in Scandinavia, even 90mA might leave you with a dead battery.
