Wanted to change the PowerSteering Filter and fluid due to leak from cover gasket. This is on a 91 300E. How do I drain the old fluid or are you supposed to suction it up? What is the proper amount of liquid, do you check hot or cold? Thanks

Use a turkey baster to suck what ever PS fluid you can from the pump. Use MB PS fluid, not auto trans oil.
Set level to mark on plstic cover for spring. The fluid will be cold anyway when you put it it. Don't overfill, it will come out.
