Anyone lower W124 just by changing spring pad to #1? Pic pls.

Has anyone lowered their W124 just by changing the spring pad to the lowest one (#1) and left everything else alone?

I've read an archive post that recommended dropping the W124 by changing only the spring pad (if you're only looking for a drop of an inch or so). I'd like to see what kind of "drop" can be actually achieved by just changing the spring pad and leaving everything else alone.

If there is anyone who lowered their car this way, can you give us your opinion on this approach and post a pic of your car. Thanks.
