please ident these items...

Hi All,

Can some please help me identify these items on my '87 260E...

#1 is on the left fender and #2 is infront of the battery...

@ 1 is electronic ignition module

@ 2 may be valve for heating control ( I have a 1988 euro which is equipped with two valves)

The #1 picture is the EZL ignition controller. It receives a signal from the flywheel that marks the TDC (small connector at the left), sends the impulses to the coil and communicates with the ECU with the other connector.
It also has a small pipe from the inlet manifold that uses to measure vacuum and calculate the timing advance.
