Trans swap at home

Hi. How difficult would it be for a trans swap at home in the garage? I imagine I will have to get the car up about 2-3 feet off the ground, but are there any other issues I should be concerned with? I have replaced several turbo 350's in my muscle car days and have a pretty good mechanical base.
Just wondering what you guys think?
Thanks

Not much different from dropping a turbo 350 except the driveshaft is quite different. I sure wouldn't want to do it on my back and it is probably heavier than a 350, but it is just a matter of parts swapping.
