W126 Fuel Pump Replacement Cost

Any opinions on the reasonable cost for replacement of the fuel pump and filters, parts and labor for a 1989 300SE? I've been quoted $522 from the dealer and was wondering if this was in-line.

Thanks!

Click on the "Fastlane" button at the top of the page and look up the price of the pump. If the pump is in the same location as on my car - above the plastic shield next to the filter and accumulator, the labor time to change it shouldn't be more than a few tenths of an hour, but some may charge a minimum labor time of an hour for anything. Changing the pump is about the same as changing the fuel filter.
