Does anyone know of a source for specialty tools to replace/remove certain parts on W124 chassis?
In particular I am looking at the tool for replacing rear crankshaft radial seal. Part number 601 589 03 43 00. Thanks! |

Samstag Sales
You could try www.samstagsales.com they have nearly everything but are VERY pricey at times. I've actually found a lot of their MB brand tools CHEAPER at a local dealership. Take the MB part # and check against a local dealership.

Makes sense...
Dealer list price is same as dealer cost. They assume the sales goes to the shop. Check around.... Many times you can improvise and make tools for basically nothing. If you've got access to a small lathe and a welder- you can make some nice stuff! Michael
