93 190 2.6. Temp indicator consistently reads high. Sometimes close to the 120 mark. Does seem to calm down once back in the airstream. The gauge itself seems to "dance" more than usual (up/down). Doesn't seem to acutally be running warm/hot, but I can't tell for sure. Thermostat is new, radiator cap is new, no leaks, fans working, popped the little tab off the sending unit and made sure connection was clean. Thoughts? Thanks in advance, allen.

So is this suddenly unusual or has it always done this? The temp fluctuation is pretty common on these cars - is it new to you?

The "dancing" is abnormal behavior. It's probably the water temp sending unit. Easy to replace and not very expensive.
